As amazing as this sounds, I have two words for you: Harsh sunlight. Whether you’re hosting a backyard party, grilling out, or chilling out, having the sun in your eyes isn’t all that pleasant, not to mention harmful to your eyes and skin. That’s why I recommend installing outdoor shades; they will increase the functionality of your space and keep you comfortable for much longer.

SOLAR SHADES

Solar shades easily pull up and down as side panels or can be placed directly overhead to give you total control over the balance of shade and sunlight on your deck, porch, or patio.

Because solar shades are semi-transparent screens, you won’t even have to lose your backyard view. Enjoy your outdoor spaces this summer and protect your family (and patio furniture) from UV rays.

ROLL-UP SHADES

Roll up shades function similar to roller shades, but they don’t block UV rays. This is a good option if you have smaller budget or if you just want to block visible light and aren’t as concerned about ultraviolet light.
