1. Trade out your pillows with holiday themes and or colors to match you holiday decor or theme. I love the ones from @easternaccents!
2. Natural elements such cotton twigs, pinecones, Nandina berries, branches, winter flowers, feathers, and antlers make a nice touch.
3. Natural Greenery makes everything pop – add in rosemary trees, holly, and magnolia sprigs.
4. Add in edible elements such as lemons, limes, oranges, artichokes, pomegranates, cinnamon sticks, and cloves.
5. Candles add ambiance and romance; votives, tea lights, fairy lights (they can go anywhere with batteries), and flickering candles are great options.
6. Invest in a new table covering or runner. Burlap is a great affordable quick option.
7. Look up: don’t forget to add elements to your light fixtures. Adding greenery and ornaments is always fun!
8. Gingerbread houses and Christmas trees make for a fun creative the entire family can join in.
9. Up your wrapping game by printing pictures of the gift recipient in lieu of gift tags, teenagers especially love as they get to see their pictures from growing up on their presents.
10. Don’t be afraid to add in non-traditional holiday colors to your decor.
11. Add luminaries to your front walk.
12. Trade out your tree skirt for a basket or galvanized bucket.
13. Add flocking to any project for a fresh look.
