Harmony in Music City

Furnishings

When a family near Nashville acquired a baby grand piano, they decided it was also time for an interior design update, including their formal living space, office, and dining room.

Starting with a palette refresh, we chose lighter tones for the primary walls to brighten the space. To support large family gatherings during holidays and special occasions, we outfitted the main living area with patterned rugs, plenty of seating, strategic lighting, and floor-to-ceiling draperies, creating an inviting ambience. In the dining room, neutral curtains with a sophisticated lattice pattern pull the space together.

Central to the redesign was the client's desire for personalized touches that reflect their stories. We worked with a talented artist to commission custom artwork pieces, featuring a seascape in a location with special meaning for the husband. This piece not only holds personal significance, but also creates a sense of harmony with the complementary painting, also by the same artist, displayed above the piano.

In the husband’s office, we enhanced functionality and aesthetic appeal with bespoke window treatments that frame the lush outdoor views and filter light to create an inspiring work environment.
