Running Springs Remodel: A Thoughtful Home Transformation in Franklin, TN

The Running Springs remodel in Franklin, TN represents the perfect blend of practical design and aesthetic transformation. This home, nestled in a peaceful rural community just outside Nashville, underwent a comprehensive overhaul that completely redefined its functionality and style. The project was particularly meaningful because the husband, a seasoned homebuilder, took the lead as contractor—making this remodel a deeply personal endeavor for the entire family.

From the moment we started, every room in the house was touched, from the kitchen and dining areas to the bedrooms and beyond. One of the standout features is the oversized kitchen island (I have island envy over this one!), which became the heart of the space—balancing practicality with elegant design. Hardwood floors extend beyond their traditional role, wrapping the exposed beams to create a cohesive and polished aesthetic throughout.

The husband’s office received a custom cabinetry solution that maximized both functionality and aesthetics, while she finally got a dedicated office space—no more working from a closet off the kitchen! Every decision was made with purpose, from unique wallpaper and standout lighting to the carefully selected tiles that gave each space its own character.
